Skin Revitalisation Treatment

Restylane Vital and Teosyal Meso are both skin rejuvenating treatments that revitalize and renew skin, improving its elasticity, tone and enhancing your skin’s general appearance.

As we age, the quality of our skin changes – collagen and elastin fibres degrade and our cells become less efficient at producing a substance called Hyaluronic acid.

Young skin contains high levels of Hyaluronic acid (HA) as it plays an important role in hydrating the skin by binding water, keeping it smooth, firm and youthful. As we grow older and there is less HA present the skin becomes drier, looser and wrinkles start to form.

Skin revitalisation treatment using products such as Restylane Vital and Teosyal Meso involve the placement of tiny amounts of HA back into the skin using a micro-needle. The products are natural and are so similar to our bodies own HA that no pre-test is required. The treatment is painless and takes only 15-30 minutes. For best results two further treatments are recommended at 3-4 weeks intervals. Most patients then choose to have follow-up treatments every 6 to 12 months to maintain results.
